Hygiene, non-toxicity and ease of cleaning
From a solid, non-porous and homogeneous material such as Corian, the top of the TOP CORIAN sinks was born. Made of pure acrylic minerals and polymers, the top washbasin presents colors and decorative patterns throughout the thickness, therefore not subject to wear.
Corian has been certified by an independent laboratory as a hygienic material according to the international DIN EN ISO 846 standard, in fact the surfaces of this material do not allow the growth of fungi and bacteria. The material is inert and non-toxic: if exposed to normal temperatures, it does not release gas; if it burns, it releases only carbon oxides, while the smoke it produces has a limited optical density and does not contain toxic halogenated gases. Maintenance and cleaning of work surfaces and integrated trays without visible joints are very easy, thanks to the absence of surface porosity, which blocks the infiltration of liquids, fluids and chemical products.
